On Tuesday, May 13<sup>th<\/sup> 2014, a total of eight updates will be released to resolve vulnerabilities; two of the eight updates are rated critical.<\/p>\n<p>You can expect the following updates:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Critical Updates:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Bulletin one: <\/strong>resolves a remote code execution vulnerability that impacts Internet Explorer within Microsoft Windows. The update is critical for all client versions of Windows \u2013 from Vista to 8.1.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bulletin two: <\/strong>resolves a vulnerability in SharePoint Server 2007, 2010, and 2013.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Important Updates:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Bulletins three and eight: <\/strong>resolve vulnerabilities in supported versions of Microsoft Office, including 2007, 2010, and 2013.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bulletins four, five, six, and seven:<\/strong> resolve various vulnerabilities within Microsoft Windows.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This will be the first Patch Tuesday since the end of support for Windows XP and Office 2003. While Microsoft released a patch for Windows XP users to resolve the IE zero-day, the upcoming Patch Tuesday doesn\u2019t include any updates for those who are running the unsupported operating system.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, at the time of releasing a fix for the IE zero day, Microsoft stated: \u201cjust because this update is out now, doesn\u2019t mean you should stop thinking about getting off Windows XP and moving to a newer version of Windows and the latest version of Internet Explorer.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Still Running Windows XP or Office 2003?
